Letter to the Editor Celebrates Community Support and Signs of Real Progress in Los Olivos Groundwater Effort

Please check out this great letter, published yesterday in the Santa Barbara Independent: Wastewater Options for Los Olivos.

With the benefit of a generous grant from POLO, the Los Olivos CSD has an opportunity to get a reasonably sized and reasonably priced wastewater collection and treatment project across the finish line for this tiny, historic town.

The next LOCSD meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 15, so please come on out, find out more about the available options, and encourage the LOCSD board to keep thinking “small” (as in: small system for just 391 parcels, small disruption of commerce, small price tag, smalltown lifestyle, small budget for ongoing operation and maintenance costs, etc.).
